> I have a question...when taking pictures of your duckies (I just got a digital camera, yea!), how/where do you take the picture so that there's no background junk or whatever the duck is sitting on in the picture. Does that make sense?
Congratulations on getting your digital camera! I got mine over a year ago and it has been one of my favorite toys ever since. As far as taking duck pictures with no background junk, so far I only know one way to do that: Get a large piece of black velvet and use it for the background of your duckie shots. Also don't forget to get lots of light on your duck (ideally coming from a few different sources to minimize shadows). If you do that then the background for your ducks will turn out jet black. If you need to prop up a duck, then put whatever you're using the prop up the duck UNDER the velvet. Hope this helps! I'm still looking for creative duck photographing ideas myself....
