I started collecting rubber ducks when my best friend bought a set of three and gave me one. They were the little ones. I thought, You know, I've never had a rubber duckie of my own, like Ernie on Sesame Street. I wanted a regular sized duck and downtown here was a kitchen store called Fred and they had ducks! I bought one (it is Henrietta Piper Trixie in the Submissions section here) and then I couldn't stop! Most ducks are yellow, and that's a happy color. Ducks make me happy.
