I live with my boyfriend Steve in Fulham and we started our rubber ducks collection at the beginning of last year (2004). We now have 19 rubber ducks of different shape and colours , most of them are displayed in the bathroom as it brightens it up (we have a special shelf for them) and a few more you can find in the living room. It started really randomly, Steve just picked the first duck because it was so colourful, we bought it, and since then we have been haunting shops trying to find new additions to our collection. We even found some in Amsterdam, we thought it was a treasure then, as we had smoked lots of pot just before and the reality of things was a bit altered. My favorite ones are my purple rubber ducks (I have 2) as puple is my favorite colour, and i also said to Steve one day that if he could find me a purple rubber duck i would marry him, to which he obliged (twice). He also found me a vibrating rubber duck but maybe i should not write this although I have never used it for its actual purpose.Anyway, I hope this helps with your book, I love my collection and i will stay in touch if i get new additions to the family.
