We're looking into upgrading the board to require registration before posting because we spend way too much time fighting off spammers these days. I guess a new board will also make new messages on old topics "float" to the top. This will be handy because a fair amount of people are posting on very old topics far down the list and their messages aren't getting viewed.
I'm hoping that the new board will make things better for everyone and that the registration won't scare folks away. I thought I'd give everyone a heads up so that it won't come as a shock when the Fan Forum suddently looks different and then asks for registration to boot!
