Room Interiour products no longer excists. It's now called BUD, hence the U on the ducks chest. In total they will introduce about 18 to 20 new designs. One of the best places to buy these babies is 'Het huis van Heden', in Breda. Sometimes De Bijenkorf buys large amounts of ducks, but this mostly happens around the holidays.. Good luck hunting them ducks! PS; if you really want a rare duck, try 'Superduck'. Its really hard to find!
You need to be quick; the ducks are wanted and every single one is limited edition. Some even more then others...

> To bad the factory in holland doesn't make these ducks anymore because the where well wanted. Now i've seen new ducks. These are not the one's with a square on the front, but the square has been replaced by an U shape. These ducks are from the same designer, so now you can collect these ducks again. The now life under the name BAD PRODUCTS instead of ROOM INTERIOR DUCKS and are still sold for the same price and in the same box. So these ducks are the real deal and are the Qualty ducks!

I suspect that they use more than one factory and that some of them just aren't very good. I don't have my Triplets with me, so I don't remember about brush strokes. If they have the hang tags and they orange square on the chest they are probably the real deal. Also check the box to see if it says Room Interior Products. I seem to recall that the second "batch" of Deluxe Ducks including the Triplets and disco duck weren't as well made as the first and third batches.
