Yeah, a lot of the swap meet ducks have mildew. A lot of them don't though. Anyway, you CAN get mildew out with a little work. You've got to soak them in a sink or bucketful of water mixed with a little bleach and then rinse the insides out a few times (or however many times it takes!) with the bleach and water solution. Doug tells me that Tilex works well too though I haven't tried it yet. I usually have a "dirty duck bucket" or two where I keep ducks 'til I can clean them and add them to my collection. It's a drag, but it's worth it!
