I count the same way that Lara does! The only thing I don't count are exact duplicates. Different vinyl colors, eyes painted differently, and different manufacturer's markings indicate a different duck to me. It may seem silly when you first are getting started but after a while, if you get really into it, you will find that the small differences really start to matter. For instance, eyelashes painted a certain way tell me that a duck probably came from Poland!!
