This doesn't have anything to do with rubber duckies, but I just wanted to say how sad I was that Mr. Rogers passed away yesterday. When I was 4 and 5, I watched his show every morning. At that young age, I felt like he was a reassuring friend in a scary world.
A good friend of mine met Mr. Rogers many years ago when she was four. My dad met him last year at a dinner. And they both told me how impressed they were at his kind and gentle nature. Yes, Mr. Rogers was the real thing. He will be missed.
